200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g caster sugar

To make the Drink (yields 850ml, enough for 10)

400ml good quality vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml citrus syrup (from the recipe above)
Fresh cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing

Instructions

For the Citrus Syrup: Put the listed items inside a pan, heat until it reaches a light boil, mixing until the sugar dissolves. After that, take off the stove and leave to reach room temperature entirely. Transfer into an sealable bottle, cap it keeping it chilled, where it will keep for around one month.

For the Batch Mix: Mix all the spirits and syrup into one sizeable container, allow it to infuse for one hour, then strain preferably using a fine cloth, making it fully clarified.

When ready to serve: Measure 85ml from the premix to a cocktail shaker filled with ice, and stir carefully for one minute to chill. Strain to a chilled martini glass or a similar vessel, garnish with the cranberries and finish with a brief mist of the essential oil above the glass.
